Sympathy Roses

Good evening Stampers!

Here is a Sympathy Card in blue’s.  I used Patterns Stack Designer Series Paper in Neutrals.  Roses are stamped with Marina Mist and sponged with Bashful Blue.  The mat is Early Espresso and the leaves / branches are Crumb Cake.  The DSP (Designer Series Paper) is Crumb Cake as well.

Sweet Birthday Wishes

Greetings Stampers!

I started fiddling with the roses from the Flower Fest stamp set.  I first started by embossing the image with white embossing powder, and then highlighting the centers of the rose with ink the same color as the cardstock that was used.  That still didn't give the shading / dimension that I was looking for.  I then stamped additional roses the same way I did the original ones, cut out the centers and then adhered them to the original roses with Dimensionals.  I figured I'd better stop before I ruined them ")
