Sending Many Thanks

This was from a sketch,  but for the life of me I can't find the sketch to post with my card. Sigh...

I used 2 different sized butterfly punches to create the butterfly: The Bitty Butterfly and Elegant Butterfly punches, Fancy Fan embossing folder, Brights Candy Dots, designer velum, and Petite Pairs stamp set. I only added adhesive to one side of the butterfly and bent it in half to give it more of a 3rd dimensional quality so it looks like it's getting ready to fly off the card.

Pirate Graduation

I made this graduation card for my niece. We are very proud of her as besides me, she is the ONLY other one in the family who had graduated from high school. I hope her example had encouraged the test of the family that is not too late to finish what you have started!

Congratulations Mariah,  I love you and I am SO damned proud of you kiddo! DON'T ever give up on your dreams.

Now, on to the card.  I used the stamp set Word Play for the sentiment, Marshfield Pirates colors are Gold & Purple so I decided to go with Crushed Curry and Elegant Eggplant along with some Gold Foil cardstock for the color scheme.

Here is the Sketch I decided to follow for this card:

Anyway, thanks for stopping by!

Thinking of You

Greetings!  I am so excited today!  I haven't really been able to create for the last month, but today I was struck with a boosting of Mojo!  Once I got started, my feet started tapping to the music and I just started reaching, stamping, and grabbing for things.  I felt like Edward Scissorhands there for a while!  lol

It looks crooked to me, but I measured everything and it's even.  I'm thinking the position of the flowers might be what's making everything look uneven.  Well what's done is done.  If it's crooked then uhhhh, I meant it to be crooked.  yeah, that's it.  It's supposed to be that way!

Item's used on this card:
  • Wonderful Watercolors stamp set
  • Ribbon
  • Brads
  • Dimensionals

Thanks Mom

This is a card that Autumn, my little neighbor girl wanted to help make for her mom.

Here is the sweet message Autumn asked me to write in the card to her mom.  I felt fortunate to be involved in such a touching message that came from the heart of a 7 year old little girl.

Here is Autumn.  She is VERY active and always on the go.  I had a hard time trying to corral her to sit somewhat still to pose for the picture!  :)

Keegans Baby Shower Invitation - Prototype

Okay, here we go!  Keegan's birth is quickly approaching, so we've scheduled his baby shower for right before he's scheduled to be here.  Because they had to take Kady, Keegan's big sister via c-section, they are going to have to take Keegan the same way.  His delivery is scheduled the 21st of July!

So, we've got his Baby Shower scheduled for July 6th at 3pm at our house.  Because all of Lauren's friends have kids, that means there is going to be a FULL house.  Women and children in the house and front and back yards with the men sheltered in the garage!  lol I can just picture it!

This is pretty much how the invitations are going to look.  A dresser with toys or shoes coming out of the drawers.  The embellishments, color, and pattern on the drawers are going to vary by dresser.

It has definitely been a while since I've posted.  It's actually been that long since I've created as every time I complete a card, I'm sure to snap it, crop it, and post it.  That way there's not a chance that I'll forget to do it later or run the risk of them piling up on me.

Anyway, I'm glad to be back and I hope to hear your feedback when you have something to share! :)
