Very Vintage - Birthday

I gave up working on this card, so I finally just decided to end up calling it good.

Stampin' Up! Treats!

I love getting new treats in the mail, especially if those treats are of the Stampin' Up! variety. Its been soooo long since I've gotten anything from SU and i was pkeasantly surprised to see the bundled / matching awts that are available. The Thinlit and Framelit dies match the stamp sets just beautifully.

In this card i used the Stitched all Around stamp set and one of the Stitched Labels Framelits die's with the colors Pool Party and Lovely Lilac.

Birthday Scoops!

Greetings!
I was in the mood to create something fun for a change.  I couldn’t wait to use the new in colors…. they are so yummy!
The stamp sets I used are Sweet Scoops, Itty Bitty Bits, and Hearts a Flutter. 
I used the brayer on the cardstock.  It was all white and had embossed lines that looked perfectly like a waffle cone, so I brayered with Baked Brown Sugar and wiped off the ink from the embossed area with a paper towel, which revealed a version of a waffle cone. 
New in-colors used on the ice cream cone are Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, Coastal Cabana, and Baked Brown Sugar for the cone.

Butterfly Friend Birthday Card

Greetings! 
I made this card in one of my favorite color combinations; Baja Breeze (which will be discontinued by Stampin’ Up! at the end of this month), which makes me very sad, Crumb Cake, and Soft Suede.
I used some new goodies that my daughter got me for my Birthday this month; The Elegant Butterfly Punch, the Occasions Paper Piercing Pack, Edgelits Large Scallop die, Framelits Bitty Banners and coordinating Itty Bitty Banners stamp set,  I just love new goodies!

Wolf Birthday in Shimmer

I found a really cool medium by Ranger called Perfect Pearls.  I brushes over a stamped image and leaves a metallic-type shimmer where the inked image is.

The stamp set used on this card is:  In Wilderness and Happy Moments (for the sentiment)

To get the distressed look on the designer cardstock, I embossed it with my chosen embossing folders and sanded the embossed area’s down to reveal the white inner core of the cardstock beneath the colored designs.

Butterfly Birthday

Frosted Birthday Greeting

Greetings everyone!
This Birthday card is sporting a frosted embossed tile.  To create the frosted appearance I took an acrylic tile, sanded it with my sanding block until the whole surface was scratched and you couldn't see through it.  I then stamped an image with versa mark, embossed with clear embossing powder, and then hit the heat gun to it. 

I really like how the frosted tile turned out.  I think I just might have to do some more playing around with this technique!  Maybe something feminine with flowers?
