Thanks so Much with Daisy

Here I am again, playing with Midnight Muse and Pool Party!  This card has been sitting on my work station for over a month…  I play around with things, add them, take them away, change them around… but I keep coming back to a simple layout.  I think it’s time to just slap my label on the back and snap it’s picture!

Grateful in Muse–Faux Etched Glass

Greetings!
Here’s something I haven’t done in a long long time; faux etched glass.  I simply took a clear plastic wafer chip that came in a variety of shapes and sizes, sanded the surface until the complete area was sanded and frosty looking.  I stamped an image on the surface with Versamark, and then covered with clear embossing powder.  Hit the heat tool to the powder and wha la!  Behold, a frosted butterfly!  This is so easy to do and makes an interesting focal point to your card or scrapbook page.

And here are some close-ups.  I hope you can see how beautiful this can be.  To enhance the image, I layered a piece of designer paper under the wafer and matted it with Midnight Muse.

Butterfly Friend Birthday Card

Greetings! 
I made this card in one of my favorite color combinations; Baja Breeze (which will be discontinued by Stampin’ Up! at the end of this month), which makes me very sad, Crumb Cake, and Soft Suede.
I used some new goodies that my daughter got me for my Birthday this month; The Elegant Butterfly Punch, the Occasions Paper Piercing Pack, Edgelits Large Scallop die, Framelits Bitty Banners and coordinating Itty Bitty Banners stamp set,  I just love new goodies!

Birthday Wish for Daughter–Seize the Birthday Sketch Challenge

A So Saffron and Basic Black Thank You

Hi there!  I found myself looking through my colors and wandered how the colors So Saffron and Basic Black would look together.
Well, here you have it.  lol  After the card was finished I added some zing by lightly distressing Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint around the black cardstock.
