Blue Friends

This is a CASE from Sandy Mathis.  I love these colors together. Vintage Vogue was used to create this card.  I really like the layout of this card.  I think I'm going to come up with some colors that are outside of my comfort zone and create something similar to this.

Just for You

This card is inspired by a new paper crafter I was fortunate enough to come across – Julie B. from Just Julie B’s Stampin’ Space.  I was so impressed with her creativity, I actually checked out just about every post she’s posted since 2008, and let me tell you, she is a frequent poster!  Any time I’m running low on Mojo, her blog is where I can go to get some instant inspiration!

So Many Smiles in Pearl

I made my own mother of pearl cardstock (lavender oval).  I used:  Frost White Shimmer Pain, and pounced it on Whisper White cardstock with wadded up plastic wrap.  Once the shimmer paint dried, I went over the  cardstock with my brayer using Whisteria Wonder ink. It's beautiful to look at!

Thanks for stopping by folks!

Love and Sympathy - CASE

It's unfortunate but it seems I've been getting more and more requests for Sympathy cards.  This card was inspired by Jacque Craig.  I really wish she had a blog or a web address where you could go to view her beautiful cards, but she doesn't seem to have one currently at the moment.  I was fortunate to see her shared projects on a private Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website where many talented Demonstrators share their projects for others to appreciate and CASE.

The card was created with more muted colors. Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla, & Soft Suede. I like the design of this card.  No fuss & no muss.  Easy to complete, yet there are enough details to keep it from being boring.  I think the designer paper I used makes the real difference though.  That's what I really like about Stampin' Up!'s product lines.  There are so many different combinations of stamps, dies, papers, punches, etc... that all work well with each other.  It's just up to you and your imagination as to how it turns out!

This card was created with the following Stampin' Up! supplies:

  • Stamp Set/s:
    • Love and Sympathy
    • Creative Elements
  • Punches:
    • Lace Ribbon Border Punch
  • Big Shot:
    • Designer Frames Embossing Folder
  • Misc:
    • Halfback Pearls
    • Dimensionals
    • Sponge Daubers
  • Colors Used:
    • Pink Pirouette
    • Soft Suede
    • Very Vanilla

    • Creative Elements
    • Clearly for You
  • Punches:
    • Oval Punch
    • Scalloped Oval Punch
  • Big Shot
    •  Designer Frames Embossing Folder

I had something different in mind when I first started making this card, but then I kept getting hit with one idea after another, we ended up with this one.  I only wish my other projects were this quickly & easily put together.  Everything just "clicked".  Don't you just love it when everything falls into place with minimal effort?!

Well, I'm off to create some more!

Pastel Thanks So Much

I really wish I could remember the creative person who inspired the design of this card.  I stamped the images with black ink and then outlined and colored in with my white gel pen.  Once the white gel ink was dry, I colored with my Stampin' Pastels to give it a soft look. I liked her version better because the gel pen didn't cover over the black ink where it did on mine.

This card was created with the following Stampin' Up! Supplies:
  • Stamp Sets:
    • Simply Soft
    • Sincere Salutations
  • Punches:
    • Extra Large Oval Punch
    • Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack
  • Big Shot:
    • Designer Frames Embossing Folder
    • Framelits Labels Collection
    • Adorning Accents Embossing Folder
  • Misc:
    • Stampin' Pastels
    • White Gel Pen
    • Q-TIps for applying Pastels
    • Victoria Crochet Trim
    • Halfback Pearls
  • Colors Used:
    • Not Quite Navy
    • Pink Pirouette
Thank you so much for stopping by.  Your feedback is very appreciated and I look forward to reading it.

Blessings & Inky Hugs!
