Good afternoon / evening Folks!
I've found my Mojo again! (wish I would quit mis-placing it)
The image is from one of my new stamp sets called Merry and Type. I also used the ornament punch, Circle Punch, Square Lace Nesties Die, Eyelet Border punch, Frostwood Lodge Designer Paper, an eyelet, gold floss, and Dazzling Diamonds to accent the sentiment.
I'm trying to get myself into the Christmas season. I have so much to be grateful for. I have all my family back on good terms, our financial crisis is over as I have been approved by Social Security, I am now technically disabled. Like I said, I have sooooo many things to be grateful for.
So, if you are reading this message I want you to know that you are a very special person and I am so glad that you are in my life. If you read my messages AND assist with Prayer requests, I wish extra blessings for you & your family. Thank you so much.
Blessings & Inky Hugs;

Baskets Full of Fun
Here is a cute Swing Card I learned to watch on YouTube . I'm not sure what the lady's name is, but her user name is Mwedemeyer. So, anyway, this is my version of the card. There are a lot of tutorials out there for this type of card, but this lady has the simplest / cleanest & less confusing format's I had seen. A lot of stampers get nervous in front of the camera & do a lot of ummm's & uhhhh's.
I have included several pictures so you can get a better idea of what the card looks like & how it works.
This style of card would display nicely on someone's desk. Because the focal point on the card is a basket of yarn, I thought I would decorate the rest of the card with Sweetest Buttons from my Embosslits Die that both cut's and embosses with the Big Shot.
Thank you for dropping by, have a blessed day!

A Card & a Story
I hope it's as Sunny and beautiful where you are at as it has been here! I've got to tell you. I am so happy to be back home finally (took 15 years to get here, but it's better too late than never, right?!) Real quick, I've got to share a story before I proceed. There was a mamma kill deer who was trying to nest to lay her eggs, and for some reason she chose our graveled driveway! She has since laid her egg/eggs and with 2 black labs (bird dogs) on the property, it's been pretty entertaining to watch her lure a prospective predator away from her nest.
One of the dogs will get close to her nest and she will fly closer and plop herself on the ground, turn on her back and roll around flapping her wings like she's in distress. Once she get's the dogs attention, she keeps flopping further & further away from the nest, luring the dogs away. I have never seen such a thing.
You've got to figure if it's the birds nature to lay their eggs on the ground, they have got to have some kind of a system to keep predators away from the nest. I was so enthralled with the activity going on outside my scrapping window that I didn't think to get the camera until it was already over.
She got the dog's attention and once the dog took to a run to get to her, she flew off just far enough that she could get away from them. Bill said that is normal, but it just amazes me how nature works!
so now, on to the card:
This card was inspired by Aly Schilling. I love her creative talent and am always inspired by her.

Butterfly Card in a Trinket / Gift Box
I am so excited to share this with my viewers! I had another late night where I was hurting & couldn't sleep so I decided to try my hand at something different and here is what i ended up with.
A beautiful little folded gift box filled with a surprise and a message. There is still enough room to add a gift for my adoring husband for fathers day (hence the masculine colors). I'm not sure what I'm going to put in it just yet, but I've got a little while longer to decide. If you are interested in getting the pattern to create this box, please send me an email and I'll send it to you. The paper rose in the box was our class focus last week. I said "you can't make just one" and it stands true! I am still making them because they are so easy to make and they are beautiful. I have a bunch stored because you never know when you're going to need a paper rose ")
Anyway, thank you for dropping by!
Blessings!
