Blue Friends

This is a CASE from Sandy Mathis.  I love these colors together. Vintage Vogue was used to create this card.  I really like the layout of this card.  I think I'm going to come up with some colors that are outside of my comfort zone and create something similar to this.

Hello, Birdie!

Good evening!  This card went together quite nicely without incident.  I ran the oval mat’s through my Big Shot, Punched the Birdie shapes, cut out the flowers and butterfly and went to pastin’.  For the finishing touch I added bling to the center of some of the flowers, a halfback pearl for the birds eye, and a bow.

Daisies

My husbands cousin put in an order for 4 custom cards.  This is the first card she ordered.

 It has been over 5 months since I have been up to making any cards.  It was an odd feeling coming into my craft room, the room I used to feel was my sanctuary.  The place where I could escape to when the world outside was carrying on.  It was a nice peaceful feeling.

Sorry I have been of the grid for a while.  Have been devoting my time on family things.  My Mom's health is going down hill and her Dr. isn't expecting her to be with us too much longer.  Her organs are shutting down and she is unable to feed herself, sit up, etc... Her right arm is turning black because she is unable to use it.

Today's project I completed is a challenge from SU - Only Challenges where the focus is For the Birds.

Friend Card

Goodness! I sure have been busy today! I'm not feeling too bad & wanted to take advantage of it as much as I could before I start hurting again. So, here we have a "Friendly" Friend card. I suppose you could give this to a friend if you wanted to. hehehe

This card was created with Vintage Vogue (I really wish i would have gotten this stamp set a long time ago) I really like the patterns and the Tiny Tag's set was used for the two tiny tags. Punches used were the tiny tag punch and the scalloped trim border punch. The ribbon is Stampin' Up! exclusive ribbon that came with the Sherbet collection. The colors used - ink and cardstock: Soft Suede and Bravo Burgundy. The white cardstock is confetti white. I really like the way this card turned out! I think I'm going to play with some other color combinations with this pattern & see what I come up with. Stay tuned!

I decided to bring out my Manhattan Flower embossing folder and use it for a change. Colors used on this Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, and Crushed Curry. Stamp set is from the Vintage Vogue.
