Dynamic Duo Daffodil Delight

Greetings!
My first card for today is from the Dynamic Duo’s Color Challenge.  The colors are Garden Green & Daffodil Delight.  Hmmm these are the colors that I have the most of in my stash because I use them very rarely.  Today’s card was really quite a challenge.  But, I’ve never let that stop me before. 



This card was created using the following supplies:

• Elements of Style
• Short and Sweet
• Bigz Top Note die
• Clear Embossing Powder
• Sponge Dauber
• Paper Towel (for rubbing ink off of embossed image)
• Stampin’ Pastels
• Corduroy Button
• DMC Embroidery Floss
• Ribbon

So, I ran two different sheets of cardstock through my Big Shot, the Whisper White cardstock fits perfectly on the Daffodil Delight mat because I cut the perforated barrier around the shape.

Welcome Baby - Try Stampin’ on Tuesday Challnge

Slowly but surely I’m increasing my stock of Baby cards.  I’ve been doing my best to keep the colors at light yellow & greens.  To change things up on this card, I used Pretty in Pink as matt’s.

Mojo Floret Thank You

I seemed to have a really hard time getting this design to come to form.  I’m thinking it was because of the Simply Scrappin’ set I was using.  Sigh.  I seemed to struggle with this card from the very beginning, I think that’s why I wasn’t very happy with how it turned out.  It seems to be lacking something, but I didn’t want it to be too busy and wanted to stay as close to the sketch as possible.
